What is the Wildcat Fund?

The Wildcat Fund is Villanova School of Business’s student-run equity fund, providing an unparalleled, hands-on learning experience for students aspiring to excel in financial careers. It empowers students to bridge classroom theory with real world practice, fostering analytical decision making, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

With a focus on socially responsible investing, the fund is managed entirely by a team of students with $2.7 million assets under management. New members start their journey as analysts, gaining foundational knowledge in portfolio management through the Villanova Investment Academy’s rigorous training program. As they refine their skills, students advance to become portfolio managers, where they analyze and monitor companies within the fund’s portfolio.
